Vocal2Melody Refund Policy
Effective date: July 20, 2026
1. Scope and definitions
This Policy applies to subscriptions, credit packages, and one-time digital services offered under the Vocal2Melody brand through vocal2melody.com by 深圳市科米奈特信息技术有限责任公司, whose registered address is 深圳市南山区桃源街道桃源社区北环大道方大广场(二期)1、2号研发楼1号楼908 (English translation for reference: Room 908, Building 1, R&D Buildings 1–2, Fangda Plaza Phase II, Beihuan Avenue, Taoyuan Community, Taoyuan Subdistrict, Nanshan District, Shenzhen, China), where payment is processed by Paddle. Purchases made through another platform are subject to that platform's refund rules. A “monetary refund” returns money paid to the payment method. A “task-credit restoration” returns service credits consumed by a task to the user's Vocal2Melody account. Credits are not cash and cannot be redeemed, withdrawn, or transferred. Free services do not involve a refundable payment.
2. Paddle payments and monetary refunds
Paddle.com is our authorized online reseller and Merchant of Record. It handles checkout, collection, taxes, receipts, payment-related buyer support, and monetary refunds. Transactions are also governed by the Paddle Buyer Terms and Paddle Refund Policy in effect at the time of the transaction. Except where applicable law or Paddle policy provides otherwise, completed purchases of subscriptions, credit packages, and one-time digital services are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. You may request a monetary refund for a duplicate charge, verified unauthorized payment, non-delivery or unreasonable delay, a persistent technical problem that prevents use of a core feature described at purchase, or a material difference from the purchase description. Paddle processes monetary refunds based on transaction records, usage, and applicable law. This Policy does not limit mandatory consumer rights.
3. Automatic credit restoration for failed tasks
If a task fails, does not generate an accessible result, or is charged credits more than once, the credits consumed by that task will be restored automatically and will not use the one request described in the next section. If the credits are not restored within a reasonable time, contact us with the account email and task ID. To the extent permitted by law, restoration may be denied for tasks arising from fraud, automated abuse, circumvention of system limits, or another clear breach of the Terms. This does not affect rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
4. Seven-day credit restoration for successful tasks
After a task successfully generates a result, you may request one task-credit restoration within seven calendar days of the result-generation date because the task was started by mistake or you are dissatisfied with the transcription. Each task is eligible only once. Automated transcription quality depends on audio quality, noise, accompaniment, reverb, harmony, vocal style, and musical complexity. Ordinary transcription variation is generally not a basis for a monetary refund, but this credit-restoration rule may apply. After credits are restored, we will disable online results and download access for that task and may delete the related results. We cannot retrieve files already downloaded to your device. Restored credits return to their original credit type, cannot be redeemed for cash, withdrawn, or transferred, and do not extend a subscription term. The same task or credit consumption cannot receive both a monetary refund and a task-credit restoration. Fraudulent, repeated, or otherwise clearly abusive requests may be denied.
5. Subscription cancellation and refund consequences
Canceling a subscription and requesting a monetary refund are different actions. You may cancel future renewal at any time through the account billing area, the management link in your Paddle receipt, or Paddle Buyer Support. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and subscription benefits remain available until then. The subscription will not renew after that period, and unused subscription credits are handled under the validity and rollover rules disclosed at purchase. Unless applicable law or Paddle policy provides otherwise, cancellation does not automatically refund the current period. Once a monetary refund is completed, the subscription, credits, paid access, and related task results directly associated with the refunded transaction may be terminated or disabled immediately.
6. Requests, processing, updates, and contact
Submit monetary-refund requests through the support link in your Paddle receipt, the account billing area, or https://paddle.net. Submit product issues and task-credit restoration requests through the contact email below. Include the purchase email, Paddle order number or relevant task ID, transaction date, and a description of the issue. Do not send a full payment-card number, password, or access token. Approved monetary refunds are generally returned to the original payment method; processing and settlement timing depends on Paddle, the bank, and the card issuer. The policy in effect when a transaction occurred governs that transaction, and updates will not retroactively reduce rights applicable to completed transactions. Nothing in this Policy prevents you from seeking lawful remedies through a payment provider, consumer-protection authority, or court.
